The Future Application of Technology in the Classroom

I think in the future I can effectively use elements of Educational Technology directly in the classroom to reorient the learning process and address the issue of disengagement. With the help of ICT, I can produce multisensory lessons which provide the students with the opportunity for multiple ways of approaching content, such as videos, quizzes, or virtual simulations. This would help address issues to do with learning rates and styles; thus enhancing the efficiency of the learning process in its bid to offer solutions to a crucial need that centres on making education as accessible as possible for as many learners as possible.

Besides, engaging in platform-based communication using Google Classroom or LMS can help to organize the communication process, submission of the assignments and the feedback received from students to analyze their progress. I could also apply other CS, including the use of online forum discussions, shared documents or work assignments in groups, all to enhance teamwork and communication of the students in preparation for the future world.

Introducing elements of games or developing rich multimedia applications can also be an entertaining and efficient approach to encourage students or make them participate. There appears to be potential to replace some traditional field trips with virtual ones as such activities may offer students a chance to be exposed to concepts or areas they would otherwise not reach.

Finally, I could apply Educational Technology to provide sustained learning both for students and teachers, thus creating learning adaptability for society with ever-advancing technological culture.
